Kid's Free Fishing Clinic
On April 16th the West Bend Kiwanis Early Risers in partnership with Southeastern Trout Unlimited, sponsored a free fishing clinic at Sandy Knoll Park in the Town of Trenton. Despite the weather, the Clinic was attended by about 200 kids. They learned some of the basics of fishing then tested their fishing skills at the pond which had been stocked with rainbow trout by the DNR. Fishing poles and bait were available for use. Door prizes and food were available at no cost for the children.
